Provincial Crime Statistics

A notable decrease on the Total Crime Incident was attributed to the partnership with the Local Government and other government agencies, the dynamic support of stakeholders in the communities, and the crime prevention strategies employed by    Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office through the implementation of Enhanced Managing Police Operations since 2016 and strict    adherence on the implementation of e-projects such as CIRAS,      E-warrant, E-Rouge, and CIDMS. In addition, the CoVID pandemic has attributed to the declining number of crimes from its previous status in the province through the health protocols strictly     implemented that brought a positive effect to the organization,   however, di not let the guards down while fighting against it.
 
The Distribution Of Total Crime Incidence For The Period. The Most Prevalent Among Index Crimes Is Murder With 12 Or 2%; Followed By Rape With 5 Or 2%; theft With 6 Incidents Or 3%; Homicide With 2 Or 1%, Robbery With 1 ; Homicide With 2 And Motornapping with 0 Incident With A Total Of 228 Index Crime.

Further Shown, Is The Highest Contributor Which Is Violation Of Special Laws With 127 Or 26%.
Followed By  Public Safety Index Or The Vehicular Accident With 16% Or 36 Incidents Resulting To Physical Injury, Homicide And Damage To Property.
Most of 8 focus crime were decreased except Homicide increased by 2 incidents and theft increased by 1 incidents as compared to the previous period.


Public Safety Index (Traffic Accidents) Have Decreased. RIR Physical Injury Decreased By 9 While Rir Damage To Property decreased By 7 Incident and RIR Homicide has no incidents recorded.
Average Monthly Crime Rate is slightly increased
Crime Clearance Efficiency from Oct 1 – Nov. 15, 2020 was decreased by 16.45% as compared to Aug. 1 to Sep 15, 2020.
